Western Mountaineering is proud to offer a membership program for qualified outdoor industry professionals and industry partners.

Acceptance into the program is not guaranteed, and application status is considered at the sole discretion of Western Mountaineering. If you embody Western Mountaineering’s spirit of adventure & are a qualifying industry professional, please start the application process below!

How To Apply:

1. Click the link below to access the Pro Application form
2. Fill out the form in its entirety and upload proof of your professional status (recent pay stub, professional ID). When possible, use your professional email while applying
3. Submit your application

After submission, someone from our Pro team will review your application and get back to you regarding your application status.

Who Qualifies For The Pro Program

At this time, space in our Pro Program is very limited due to high demand & need to fulfill local dealers’ orders in a timely manner. Western Mountaineering reserves the option to accept or deny applications into the Pro Program based on current availability.

At this time, the categories we accept into the Pro Program are as follows:

• Outdoor Brand Employee (Limited solely to employees of outdoor brands & manufacturers)
• Retail Employee (Must be a current employee of an authorized Western Mountaineering dealer listed on this page)
• Wilderness Guide/Search & Rescue (Must be a current full-time worker in an accredited guide or SAR organization)
• Government & Research Professional (Must be a current full-time worker in an outdoors-designated government agency or research center)

*Note – We are unable to give military/first responder discounts at this time. Please check with your local Western Mountaineering dealer to see if they offer this discount.

Pro Program Guidelines

• Your Western Mountaineering Pro membership is meant for you only, in hopes of fueling your adventures & inspiring a greater conversation about Western Mountaineering’s gear
• Please use discretion when speaking about the Western Mountaineering Pro Program
• Purchasing with the intent to resell is prohibited and will result in an immediate ban from the Pro Program
• Purchases are limited to one sleeping bag/quilt, one piece of down apparel, and two sleep accessories per calendar year
• Access to the Pro Program is valid for one full year after acceptance. After this time, you will be asked to reapply to the Pro Program.
• Western Mountaineering Pro purchases can only be processed with U.S. billing and shipping addresses
• All Western Mountaineering Pro purchases must be placed through our customer service (support@westernmountaineering.com)
